Grand Opening of Spencer Place Apartments, Simcoe, ON

Norfolk County’s newest purpose-built rental community is now officially open, offering modern rental suites and a range of resident amenities in the heart of Simcoe.

On October 19, 2026, Skyline, alongside Norfolk County Mayor Amy Martin, celebrated the grand opening of Spencer Place Apartments at 4 & 6 Spencer Way in Simcoe, marking the milestone with a ribbon-cutting at the property. The two-building development brings 199 new rental suites to Simcoe while offering on-site amenities and professional property management by Skyline Living.

“Spencer Place Apartments brings a new rental option to Simcoe,” said Greg Jones, President of SkyDev, the developer.

“It offers modern suites and amenities that give residents more opportunities to stay active and connect with their neighbours. We’re excited to see people begin making this community their home.”

The property consists of two six-storey buildings offering brand new 1-bedroom, 1-bedroom plus den, and 2-bedroom suites. Bright, open-concept layouts, large windows, private balconies, contemporary kitchens, and in-suite laundry offer residents a modern and comfortable place to call home.

“When we broke ground on Spencer Place Apartments two years ago, we recognized the important role this development would play in helping address local housing needs,” said Mayor Amy Martin.

“It’s rewarding to see that vision become a reality today. These new rental homes will provide more housing choice for residents and help support the continued growth of Norfolk County.”

Residents at Spencer Place Apartments can take advantage of shared amenities designed to make life more convenient and enjoyable, including:

  • Fitness room
  • Social lounge
  • Entertainment kitchen
  • Billiards room
  • Pickleball court
  • Landscaped courtyard

“Spencer Place Apartments is designed to support the way renters want to live today,” said Maria Duckett, Skyline’s Vice President, National Property Operations.

“It offers the chance to enjoy a brand-new home in a professionally managed community with amenities just steps from your front door. With move-in-ready suites available, we’re excited to show prospective residents what life here can look like.”
