On June 12, 2025, Skyline Apartment REIT sold a four-property portfolio across southwestern Ontario:
- 130 Sheldon Avenue Chatham, Ontario (Sheldon Avenue Apartments): 45 suites
- 455 Sandys Street, Chatham, Ontario (Northland Place): 58 suites
- 200 London Road, Sarnia, Ontario (London Road Apartments): 49 suites
- 1100 Wellington Street, Sarnia, Ontario (St. Clair Apartments): 29 suites
The properties total 181 residential suites.
“In early 2025, we identified these properties as appropriate for a strategic disposition, and the sale reflects Skyline Apartment REIT’s dedication to continuously refining and enhancing our portfolio,” said Matthew Organ, President, Skyline Apartment REIT.
“The REIT continues to have a large presence in Sarnia, with 1,433 suites across 20 properties, as well as Chatham, with 941 suites across nine properties. We continuously assess opportunities throughout the portfolio to make strategic transactions with the aim to drive additional investor value.”
Post-disposition, Skyline Apartment REIT comprises 232 properties in 52 communities in seven provinces across Canada, with a total of 20,777 residential suites.
